Introduction

Want to kayak/camp with others.

Do you own a canoe, kayak, neither or both?

UPDATE: I have a Stalker tandem, Dagger Catalyst 12.8 and an Otter XL now.

If you are an avid paddler, what are some of your favorite places to go?

I would say the Ohio, 14 mile creek, Elk Creek, Deams, John Hay, Hardy, Blue River - there are many others I would like to explore.

How did you find out about this group?

From SINK Paddlers, Harry's old group.

  • Hi Jim,
I had not looked around on the site a lot, but after your comment I looked or the 18-mile camp trip comments. That is crazy! 25mph winds and white caps! HA! Gotta love a good story. I've been in a hail storm and it usually rains when I go out. And, why is it that the wind is always to your head vs. your back? ;-)

  • Thanks Jim for the greeting. A fishing trip sounds good as long as the fish are biting. Looking forward to meeting you and other members of the group. Later.
